| Content | In recent years, there has been an increasing amount of literature on firms’ activities in terms of promoting more environmentally sustainable business practices, particularly by developing and deploying green technologies. Specifically, the field of green entrepreneurship has gained increased momentum. The idea of entrepreneurship that pursues ecological goals while being profit-oriented has aroused interest among a growing number of scholars. Considerable ecological deterioration, along with recent technological advancements, have emphasized the heightened significance of opportunities for environmental entrepreneurship, particularly with regard to the promotion of Greentech, because entrepreneurship plays a quintessential role in an economy’s transition from one technological era to another and societal transformation.
